My Film Opening Project - Genre & Production Name

I will be working solo on this two minute film opening. I have a clear idea of what I will be creating, and how I will create it. For this opening, I will focus on the horror and animation genre, with it exploring digital animation and body horror. The reason I am choosing to do this form of animation is because I am already well versed in this skill, and I would find it interesting to experiment with this field. I am also choosing to do the body horror sub genre due to my interest in the idea I have in mind for this film opening. I am choosing to name my production company "Sketchbook Productions". My reason for this is that I am utilizing animation for my film, and that art is a core part of my skills. Film Editing Techniques

For this assignment, we were tasked with creating numerous films following various editing techniques we learned in class. We had to record different shots following a prompt we envisioned. Then, we would have to sift through the shots and pick out the best ones we found. After this, wed edit them together in order to create a finished product that we could take pride in.  The first editing technique me and my partner, Adrianna, had done was the cross cutting technique. Cross cutting is normally done to show simultaneous action in different places in order to create tension in the scenes. The prompt we did followed two different characters doing the opposite of a task, with one walking peacefully in a full shot while the other is driving rapidly at eye level. This was done for a sort of comedic effect while showing the urgency in the driver.
